The Cecīļi Nature Trail is a constantly evolving hiking route in Gauja National Park. The path follows the banks of the Kumada, Dančupīte, and Amata rivers, revealing the stunning Cecīļi Cliff, Dančupīte Canyon, and a small waterfall. The marked 2 km trail can be extended in summer to reach “Līči” by continuing along the Amata River. This trail is perfect year-round—during autumn and winter, it transforms into a festival of lights during the Gaismas Evenings, when the illuminated path creates a magical atmosphere. It’s an ideal place for peaceful relaxation, photography, and discovering Latvia’s nature.
