The Pärnu breakwater is a historic 19th-century structure built to deepen the river mouth and promote maritime trade. According to legend, couples who reach the end of the breakwater and share a kiss seal their love forever. Since 2019, a lit wooden pathway with benches and bicycle stands leads to the breakwater. A summer walk here is an unforgettable experience.
