St. Catherine's Church in Pärnu is an impressive Baroque architectural monument in Estonia, built in 1769 by the order of Empress Catherine II. The sanctuary is distinguished by its spacious interior, sculpted façade, and six slender spires that lend the building elegance. It is considered one of the most stylish Baroque churches in the Baltic region. Although it differs architecturally from later-built Orthodox churches, St. Catherine's had a significant influence on their development throughout the region. Today, it belongs to the Russian parish of Pärnu and remains an important religious, cultural, and architectural landmark that attracts tourists from around the world.
