The Chapel of the Name of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Barklainiai is a gem of cultural and religious tourism in Aukštaitija, located in the Panevėžys region. Situated on a hill near the cemetery, just 100 meters from the A8 road, the chapel belongs to the Ramygala parish. Built in 1858, the chapel stands out with its stone masonry architecture and a folk-style altar featuring an oak sculpture of Christ. The chapel was renovated through the initiative of Father Robertas Pukėnis, and every year, it hosts the Feast of the Name of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is an ideal place for religious tourism and historical exploration.
