The Paliūniškis Bridge over the Lėvens River, built in 1933, is one of the most significant engineering structures in the Panevėžys region. The bridge was designed by Kazys Germanas, and after being named after S. Darius and S. Girėnas, it became an important transportation hub. Throughout its history, the bridge has been reconstructed, and after load tests, it still meets safety requirements. The Paliūniškis Bridge is listed in the Register of Immovable Cultural Heritage of Lithuania as a historical and cultural heritage site.
