Balninkai Church of St. Bishop Stanislaus is an exceptional example of religious and architectural heritage. The parish was established before 1544, and the current Neo-Romanesque–Neo-Gothic brick church was built between 1908 and 1910. It houses a valuable 19th-century wooden sculpture of the Nazarene, recognized as a cultural monument. The Gothic interior, three naves, and the historical legacy of the church make this site an important destination in the Aukštaitija region. The church was consecrated in 1921 by Bishop Pranciškus Karevičius. It is a place well worth including in a religious tourism itinerary.
