Tauragė is rapidly changing its face and stepping into a new era of tourism. The city aims to become one of the most attractive destinations for travelers, and a unique project has been implemented to achieve this goal – the renovated historic hotel "Tauragė." After a major renovation, the modern hotel in Tauragė offers 70 elegantly furnished rooms, including luxury suites with living areas, suitable for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel features conference and event halls, where up to 200 participants can gather, as well as a gym, co-working spaces, and a modern restaurant, "Aikštė", with a terrace in the heart of the city.
This project not only strengthens Tauragė’s tourism sector but also creates new jobs. It is expected that the hotel will welcome around 28,000 guests annually, contributing to the city’s economic growth and becoming a significant tourism attraction in Western Lithuania. During the opening ceremony, Tauragė's mayor Dovydas Kaminskas emphasized that the hotel’s renovation is an important step in the city's
development, promoting local businesses and tourism. "This is more than just accommodation – it’s an investment in the city’s future, strengthening its image as an attractive travel destination," said the mayor.
The entrepreneurs who renovated the hotel stress that Tauragė can become a competitive tourism hub, attracting both Lithuanian and international visitors. This hotel is not only a great place to stay in Tauragė, but it also offers high-quality services that can compete with accommodation options in major cities. Room rates range from 60 to 119 EUR, depending on the season and chosen room. The hotel’s interior blends modernity with historical heritage, and the exceptional design, created by professional architects, meets European hospitality standards. Experts predict that the renovated hotel in Tauragė will become a new tourist attraction and contribute to the city’s popularity. Tauragė, long a little-known destination among travelers, now has the potential to become a discovery for those seeking quality relaxation in Lithuania.
