"Samogitas" is a stone sculpture located on the Šiauliai pedestrian boulevard near the Art Gallery. Created by sculptor Kazys Bimba, it was installed in 2013 and depicts a Samogitian—a symbol of resilience and strength. Made from pink granite found near Kairiai, the sculpture represents Samogitia and the perseverance of its people. Sitting beside "Samogitas", one can feel the inspiration and power that this artwork conveys. It is not only a piece of city art but also a place to pause and enjoy the surroundings of Šiauliai. The sculpture was created as part of the project "Touch the Exhibits! In Search of Šiauliai's Identity."
