The Šiauliai Boulevard is known for its various fountains, but the small fountains surrounding the "Motherhood" sculpture have become a true attraction for families with children. Created by Aloyzas Toleikis, the sculpture depicts a mother with her baby and has delighted passersby for 40 years. The fountains encircling the sculpture provide a refreshing pastime on hot summer days. Designed by the architect family Rimantas, Rūta, and Giedrė Stuopeliai, they create a playful and cozy atmosphere. The sculpture is embedded into the pavement and harmonizes beautifully with the "Dawn" sculpture in the Chestnut Alley. In 2009, the fountain was renovated, and greenery was planted, transforming the area into a charming and inviting city corner. With this sculpture, Šiauliai Boulevard has become one of the city's most visited tourist attractions.
