Birštonas St. Anthony of Padua Church, built in 1909 based on the design of architect Vaclovas Michnevičius, is a Neo-Gothic structure featuring a tall tower and three naves. The church holds significant religious and historical importance for the town. The first church in Birštonas was likely built in 1529 but was destroyed due to various historical events. The current church was constructed under the leadership of parish priest Jonas Karvelis and consecrated in 1909. Inside, it houses an organ crafted by the renowned Lithuanian master Jonas Garalevičius. Surrounded by a low stone fence, the church stands as a key religious and cultural symbol of Birštonas.
