A memorial stone marking the site of the former Karaite Kenesa stands in Panevėžys, on Ramygalos Street, between Sodų and Ramygalos streets. The granite monument was erected in 1995 through the initiative of Rimantas Ridikas and Vidas Žigas, with the support of the Karaite community and the Panevėžys City Municipality, to commemorate the Karaite Kenesa, which was closed in 1952 and destroyed in 1970. This monument is an important symbol reflecting the cultural heritage of Panevėžys.
