The Žiegždrių Geological Educational Trail is a unique geological path that can be considered an open geology lesson. The route begins at the Kalniškiai conglomerate outcrop and ends at the Žiegždrių outcrop, covering a distance of 1.6 kilometers. Along this trail, visitors can observe conglomerates, stalactites (a unique feature in Lithuania), and learn about geology through clear and child-friendly informational boards.
The trail leads through natural and compacted dirt paths, with wooden paths and stairs in some areas. Travelers can enjoy the panoramic view of the Kaunas Reservoir and relax at observation points or rest areas with benches. The trail also features interactive boards that clearly indicate the route and points of interest.
