The Samylai Hillfort with a settlement, located in the Kaunas region, is an important archaeological and cultural monument dating back to the 1st millennium. The hillfort, with a 6.5-meter-long platform and a 1-meter-high embankment, is surrounded by trees and offers a stunning view of the Kaunas Reservoir area. Nearby the hillfort is a settlement where fragments of ancient pottery have been found. The Samylai Hillfort and settlement are excellent tourist attractions, providing an opportunity to explore the history and culture of ancient Lithuania.
