Alanta St. James the Apostle Church, located in the town of Alanta in the Molėtai district, is a Neo-Romanesque style house of worship, built in 1909 according to the design of the architect K. E. Strandman from Liepāja. The church features a three-nave structure and a Latin cross layout. Its façade is adorned with two towers, and the interior stands out for its spacious and bright design. The church houses seven significant works of art. The feast of St. James is celebrated on July 28, while the feast of the Most Holy Rosary of the Virgin Mary is celebrated on October 7. The church serves as an active center for parish activities, providing various religious and community services.
