Grinkiškis Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, construction of which began in 1884, became an essential part of the local spiritual life. The church's design was created by architect Dmitrijevas in 1866, and the construction was led by Swiss architect Lemans. In 1944, the church was destroyed by fire, but it was rebuilt after 1947 under the guidance of pastor Mykolas Gobius.
The churchyard, surrounded by a brick fence, contains the graves of prominent parishioners and priests. The local history also includes the parish school, which was active since 1804, and Vicar Vincentas Moisiejus, who participated in the 1863 uprising. The church and its surroundings remain an integral part of Grinkiškis' cultural and spiritual heritage.
