The ruins of Alančiai Manor, located in the Panevėžys district, impress with their size and the several-hectare park filled with moss-covered trees. This manor, mentioned since the 16th century, was owned by prominent noble families such as the Žilinskai, Oginskiai, and Rudaminos. The current palace and park were shaped by the Rudaminos family, who owned the estate until 1940. It is said that a shelter for disabled girls operated here, with the products made by the girls even gaining fame across the Atlantic.
Although the palace no longer has a roof, its walls and buildings have been partially restored, and the architectural features continue to captivate visitors. Alančiai Manor is a site of cultural and historical significance, inviting visitors to explore the mysteries of Lithuania's manor history.
