The ruins of Alančiai Manor, located in the Panevėžys district, impress with their size and the several-hectare park filled with moss-covered trees. This manor, mentioned since the 16th century, was owned by prominent noble families such as the Žilinskai, Oginskiai, and Rudaminos. The current palace and park were shaped by the Rudaminos family, who owned the estate until 1940. It is said that a shelter for disabled girls operated here, with the products made by the girls even gaining fame across the Atlantic.

Although the palace no longer has a roof, its walls and buildings have been partially restored, and the architectural features continue to captivate visitors. Alančiai Manor is a site of cultural and historical significance, inviting visitors to explore the mysteries of Lithuania's manor history.

The ruins of Alančiai Manor, located in the Panevėžys district, stand out for their impressive size and ancient park, where giant, moss-covered trees stretch towards the sky. Mentioned since the 16th century, this manor is easily accessible, located just a few kilometers from the main road connecting Vilnius and Panevėžys. Alančiai village, where the manor remains stand, was never a large settlement, but its manor history attracts curious visitors from all over Lithuania. The manor had many owners over time, with the land belonging to notable noble families such as the Žilinskai, Oginskiai, Pilsudskiai, Rudaminos, and others. The current palace and park were created by the Rudaminos, who owned the estate until
1940. The family took care not only of the palace but also established several economic buildings, some of which remain to this day. It is said that in the final years of the manor's existence, one of the Rudaminas founded a shelter for disabled girls, where the lacework made by the girls gained recognition even across the ocean. Although the manor now stands in a sad state, its condition is not tragic: wall cracks have been patched, windowsills are covered with film, and holes have been filled with bricks. The manor has been without a roof for a long time but still stands proudly. A sense of peace pervades the area, and in the several-hectare park, oak trees, larches, lindens, and pines quietly tell their stories.
