The St. George the Victorious Orthodox Church in Geisiškės, located in the Vilnius district, is a unique Orthodox sanctuary with both religious and historical significance. This stone church was built in 1865 in just five months, with land and bricks donated by Prince Cezaris Giedraitis, who contributed to the realization of this important project.
In 1945, the parish recorded 642 believers, and the parish was officially registered by the Soviet authorities in 1947. Today, the church remains a living religious center, bearing witness to the Orthodox heritage and community history of the Vilnius region.
This cultural and historical site attracts not only the faithful but also visitors interested in Lithuania's religious monuments.
