The Palanga Fairy Tale Park, opened in 2016, is a unique place for families where visitors can not only enjoy the tranquility of nature but also explore Lithuanian folk creativity. This nearly two-hectare space, located in the pine forest near Birutė Park, invites visitors to discover playful sculptures inspired by Lithuanian fairy tales, such as "The Fox and the Pitcher" and "The Bean."

The sculptures can be touched, climbed on, and played with, and the tales are narrated in both Lithuanian and English by Inga Valinskienė. The park's family-friendly infrastructure—paths, lighting, and informational signs—ensures a comfortable visit.

Created through the initiative of the local municipality and entrepreneurs, the park is open to everyone and free of charge. According to Mayor Šarūnas Vaitkus, this space promotes Lithuanian heritage and allows children to discover the beauty of the nation’s creative works.

Since 2016, Palanga has been home to the Lithuanian Fairy Tales Park, a cozy recreational space located near Birutė Park, in a pine forest next to the "Kupeta" art and entertainment club. This nearly two-hectare area attracts visitors with playful sculptures that combine folk art with contemporary creativity. The first stage of the park introduced four sculptures created by artists Andrius Petkus ("The Fox and the Pitcher"), Algis Kasparavičius ("Seku Seku Pasaką"), Gediminas Mažintas ("The Bean"), and Rolandas Šmitas ("The Sun and the Moon"). These sculptures are not only for viewing but can also be touched, climbed, or spun. Contemporary art is presented alongside folk traditions, with the fairy tales narrated in the voice of Inga
Valinskienė. The park is designed to be accessible to visitors of all ages, with new pathways, lighting, and small architectural elements. Informational signs next to the sculptures allow visitors to read or hear the stories in Lithuanian and English, with plans to add several more languages in the future. This space was created through the collaboration of the Palanga municipality and local entrepreneurs. The project received support from the hotels "Palanga," "Kerpė," "Palangos Vėtra," the "Energetikas" health center, and the "A-petit" restaurant. According to Mayor Šarūnas Vaitkus, the park's goal is to promote the understanding of Lithuanian culture and provide families with an opportunity to spend quality time for free.
