The sculpture "NR" (Independent Rider), created by Petras Mazūras, greets visitors in the MO garden and evokes various associations with the Vytis, yet allows for freedom in interpretation. The figure of the rider can symbolize both the Vytis and the Vytis motif, allowing visitors to embody this symbol. The use of old motor parts reflects driving power, while the red exterior, coated with polyester over stainless steel, recalls the Independence terminal and connects to futuristic elements. It is a play with symbols, rethinking them without overstepping their boundaries, inspiring vigor and modernity.
