The monument "Fountain" is a sculptural object dedicated to Kazimieras Simonavičius, the pioneer of Lithuanian rocket theory and the author of the famous work "The Great Art of Artillery," published in 1650. The fountain was erected in 2005 at the Telšiai Cathedral Square, in honor of this prominent Lithuanian scientist. The sculpture was created by Romualdas Kvintas, and the architectural project was prepared by Algirdas Žebrauskas. It is one of many artistic landmarks in Telšiai that commemorate the region's history and culture.
