The City Model for the Visually Impaired is a bronze city model created in 2007, designed for people with visual impairments. The authors are Eglė Tamošiūnaitė, a student of the Vilnius Academy of Arts Telšiai Faculty, and architect Algirdas Žebrauskas, with guidance from Associate Professor Romualdas Inčirauskas. The model depicts one of the seven Insula Hills, the Telšiai St. Anthony of Padua Cathedral, the Seminary, the Bishops' Palace, the old city school, a fountain dedicated to Kazimieras Simonavičius, the Cultural Center, the Žemaitė Drama Theatre, the Exhibition Hall, as well as Kalno and Respublikos streets. The sides of the model are adorned with the coats of arms of the city of Telšiai and Žemaitija. This model allows visually impaired individuals to become familiar with Telšiai and its important landmarks.
