The Skaudvilė Resistance Fighters' Graves is a historic site where Lithuanian partisans who were killed between 1944 and 1955 were buried in the former NKVD courtyard. In 1990-1991, a monument was erected here, and a memorial plaque was unveiled to honor the fighters for independence. Additionally, a monument was built in the former NKVD building's yard to commemorate the 43 partisans of the Kęstutis District, who were tortured and killed in battles against Soviet occupation. Symbolic crosses with the names of the fallen reflect the heroic struggle for freedom. This site is an important memorial, reminding us of the partisans' sacrifice and their fight for Lithuania's independence.
