Located in the center of Žagarė, the unique "Pottery House" is a private museum founded by the charismatic artist Edmundas Vaičiulis. The museum surprises visitors with its facade and roof, adorned with hundreds of ancient pots, jugs, and other vessels. Inside and in the yard, visitors will find a variety of items: irons, "bezmėnai" (traditional tools), cameras, oil lamps, and millstones.
E. Vaičiulis is not only a collector but also a woodcarver. His sculptures adorn the Žagarė park, and his wooden masks are part of the museum’s exhibition. The "Pottery House" is not just a unique place, but also a living treasury of stories, which are enthusiastically told by the museum’s founder himself.
