Monument to Mahatma Gandhi and Hermann Kallenbach

In 2015, a monument dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and his companion Hermann Kallenbach was unveiled in Rusnė. They are celebrated as soulmates and symbols of the fight against British colonialism. Gandhi, regarded as the pioneer of nonviolent resistance, and Kallenbach became significant historical figures. The monument was created by sculptor Romualdas Kvintas.
