St. Catherine's Church in Vilnius is a stunning masterpiece of late Baroque architecture located in the Old Town of Vilnius. Built between 1625 and 1743, it features dynamic facades, rich decorative elements, and two elegant towers. The church was part of the Benedictine Monastery complex, to which it is connected by a corridor. On its southwestern side stands the Chapel of Providence, designed by the renowned architect Kristupas Glaubicas.
During World War II, the church suffered significant damage, and during the Soviet era, it was repurposed as a warehouse. Between 1994 and 2006, the church underwent restoration and was transformed into a cultural center. The main nave now serves as a venue for concerts, the crypts host exhibitions, and smaller, intimate events are held in adjacent spaces.
