Lietava Stream is a unique natural landmark believed to have inspired the name of Lithuania. According to linguist K. Kuzavinis, the name "Lithuania" may have originated from the hydronym "Lietava," linked to the word lieti (to pour). The stream begins in the Lietauka Marsh and flows through the Jonava and Širvintos districts, eventually joining the Neris River near Arnotiškiai.
For visitors' convenience, the site features an accessible pathway, a small bridge, a chapel post, and a natural spring. It is a place where history meets nature.
