Upninkai Church of St. Michael the Archangel

The stone Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Upninkai is located near the Šventoji River rather than in the center of the settlement. After a fire in the 19th century, the church was established in a surviving grain warehouse, donated by a local nobleman. Although the church was built within the old warehouse, its Classical style and rich history make it a valuable landmark in the Šventoji River valley.
