The Joninės Valley is Jonava’s pride, offering opportunities for active recreation and relaxation. Located near the city ponds, it stands out with its modern amphitheater, fountains, seating for 600–800 people, a skiing center with four slopes, and unique three-level mountain biking trails. For active leisure enthusiasts, there is also a disc golf park surrounding the ponds.
The valley derives its name from the long-standing tradition of celebrating Joninės (Midsummer Festival). Each year, it becomes the heart of the "Jonų Respublika" (Republic of Jonai), featuring fairs, educational activities, concerts, and the Midsummer Night Mystery. Additionally, it hosts city celebrations, summer festivals, and other cultural events.
