Alvitas Manor, located in the Vilkaviškis district, is a historic estate established in the 18th century by Antanas Tyzenhauzas and later owned by the Gauronskiai counts in the 19th century. After the buildings were destroyed during World War I, they were rebuilt, and in 1937, the manor was purchased by Donatas Malinauskas, a signatory of the Act of February 16.
Following World War II, the manor lost its artistic treasures, and in 1994, it was acquired by Giunteris Bošucas. However, the property was left neglected. Today, the manor stands abandoned, a somber reminder of its complex history.
