STASYS MUSEUM is more than just a museum; it’s a creative haven where the art of renowned artist Stasys Eidrigevičius comes to life. This next-generation cultural space has become a magnet for local and international talents, fostering creativity, idea exchange, and artistic dialogue. Known for his unique perspective, Eidrigevičius once said, “Mastery is revealed in a fragment, in detail.” This philosophy permeates the museum, where every detail—even Stasys’s signature on the building’s wall—invites visitors to explore his artistic universe.
The museum aspires to be the cultural epicenter of Panevėžys and a leading art hub in the Baltics. The name “STASYS MUSEUM” symbolizes
the harmony of Lithuanian roots and global reach, with a clever nod to the artist's identity encoded in “MUS.E.UM.” Its collection includes hundreds of valuable works—photographs, posters, masks, pastels, miniatures, ex-libris, and paintings—collectively valued at over €3 million.
The museum is a masterpiece of architecture, designed by the IMPLMNT architects team led by Aurimas Syrus, Greta Šidlauskaitė, and Ričardas Bertašius. Its monumental yet minimalist aesthetic reflects Stasys’s principles of simplicity, logic, and imagination. This bold yet harmonious structure enriches Panevėžys’s skyline and adds a vibrant dimension to Lithuania’s cultural landscape.
