Įstra Aviation Park is a unique destination for aviation fans and sky enthusiasts. Established in 2000 by renowned aviator Vytautas Lapėnas, the airfield initially operated as an aerobatic flight school. Later, it hosted the European Aerobatic Championship, earning international recognition.
Today, the park houses an aircraft museum with both indoor exhibitions and an open-air collection. Visitors can explore pilot equipment from World War I and World War II, delve into aviation history, and learn fascinating details about the lives of prominent pilots. Museum guides share not only technical insights but also captivating stories about the art of flying.
In addition to exhibitions, the aviation park offers sightseeing or specialized flights and educational programs, providing an up-close experience of the aviation world.
