In the Krekenava Forest District, on the right bank of the Linkava Stream, stands a unique glacial erratic known as Rapolas. This stone is remarkable for its impressive size: its circumference reaches 14.54 meters, height is 2.55 meters, length is 5.14 meters, and width is 4.18 meters. Due to these remarkable dimensions, Rapolas was declared a protected natural monument in 1964. Interestingly, the stone's name is linked to the nearby landowner, whose name was Rapolas. Local residents and visitors, fascinated by this natural wonder, often refer to Rapolas as a "relative of Puntukas." Near the stone, there is an educational trail, the "Girinio Takas," where visitors can learn more about this exceptional natural site.
