The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is a vibrant and prominent feature of Budriai village. This wooden sanctuary has been the spiritual center of the community for over a century. The current church was built in 1903, replacing a modest chapel that stood in the village in the 18th century. The parishioners built the new church with their own hands, and their efforts are still appreciated today, as the church is recognized as a state-protected cultural heritage site.
Inside the church, visitors are drawn to three ornate wooden altars and a finely carved pulpit. The unique wooden bell tower in the churchyard stands out with its distinctive roof structure. Recently renovated, the prayer house now shines with its refreshed appearance, and its surroundings invite visitors seeking peace and beauty.
