In Kretinga, at the home of Birutė and Vaidotas Kisielius, visitors are invited to explore the unique Hedgehog Museum. This distinctive space houses a collection of over 800 souvenir hedgehogs, made from materials ranging from wood, glass, and ceramics to amber. The collection is further enriched with books, calendars, and paintings featuring hedgehog themes. Among the exhibits, one can find both mass-produced and one-of-a-kind pieces from various corners of the world.
There is no need for tickets to visit the Hedgehog Museum – the hosts welcome every visitor, and the best form of gratitude for a visit is often another hedgehog added to the collection. This is perhaps the only museum of its kind in Lithuania, inviting people to discover its warm and fun atmosphere while contributing to the growth of the collection.
