Salantai Manor Park is one of the most impressive places in the Kretinga region, blending history with the beauty of nature. The park is located along the picturesque banks of the Salantas River, where water, vegetation, and stone elements come together. The exact date of the park’s establishment is unknown, but it is believed to have originated in the 18th century when the aristocratic Vainai family planted an orchard here. Later, the park was maintained by other manor owners.
Although the manor buildings have not survived, the park’s paths, benches, and lush trees still convey the grandeur of the past. The park also features playgrounds and decorative sculptures, making it an ideal spot for both peaceful relaxation and active leisure. Salantai Manor Park is not only a corner of nature but also an important cultural site that tells the story of the nobility's life and the region's history.
