This mural is a tribute to the aviation legends of the Pasvalys region – Vytautas Lapėnas, Eugenijus Malinauskas, and Jonas Pyragius. Their lives, like flights between earth and sky, life and death, were devoted to the passion of flying. The mural depicts a hawk, symbolizing the freedom of flight, visually expressed through a contrast of colors: from natural hues to bright red, symbolizing the transition between life and death. The unbreakable spirit of the pilots, like phoenixes, and their return to their passion even in the face of adversity, is highlighted by the crumbling feathers of the hawk, transforming into geometric shapes reminiscent of shattered airplane debris. The hawk's gaze towards the sky reflects the eternal desire of pilots to fly, and the mural, created by Tadas Šimkus (Studio "Gyva Grafika"), provides an opportunity to remember and honor these aviation pioneers.
