In early September 1941, a tragedy occurred in the Darbėnai area, where about 320 Jewish women and children were killed. This site bears witness to the painful history of the Holocaust, and a memorial stone has been erected here in memory of the victims. This memorial serves as a reminder of the lost community and invites visitors to learn about the history, honor the victims, and reflect on the past events that shaped Lithuania's cultural and historical identity.
