The Old Believers' house of worship in Panevėžys stands out for its uniqueness and history. This wooden church, built in 1906, is distinguished by its onion-shaped dome adorned with a cross. Due to persecution, the Old Believer community was not allowed to have a permanent house of worship for over 80 years. During World War I, the church was burned down but was rebuilt in 1926. Inside, the flower motif rose window and the carved altar fence stand out, reflecting the folk architectural style. The Old Believers' house of worship is not only a spiritual space but also an important cultural heritage site in Panevėžys.
