The Museum of Kamajai History, dedicated to the poet and priest Antanas Strazdas, is located in a unique setting—within the chapel of the Kamajai Church of St. Casimir. Though modest in size, the museum creatively caters to modern visitors, offering insights into the history of Kamajai, the local markets, the church’s past, and the life of poet Antanas Strazdas.
The chapel's crypt features an impressive hologram, and visitors can hear the renowned hymn Pulkim ant kelių (Let Us Kneel Down). Groups of up to 10 people are welcome to visit for a symbolic donation to support the museum's mission. Visits must be arranged in advance by phone. This destination provides an excellent opportunity to explore both the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Kamajai region.
