In Kūlupėnai Village, on Pušyno Street, stands a monument honoring the partisans who perished on April 6, 1953, in the Kūlupėnai and Vaineikiai Forests. These include Stasys Jonauskas, leader of the Vizbutas Squad of the Kardo Unit (renamed the Šatrija Unit in 1953) in the Žemaičiai District, and partisans Antanas Gliožeris, Antanas Bružas, Anicetas Kaunas, and Vytautas Vaičekauskas. The monument was erected in 1999 through the initiative and craftsmanship of Juozapas Antanas Viluckas.
Located in Block 85 of the Vaineikiai Forestry, this monument symbolizes respect for the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for Lithuania's independence. It is an important memorial site, inviting visitors to deepen their understanding of the significance of partisan struggles and Lithuanian history.
