Memorial for Kardo Unit Partisans in Kretinga Cemetery

In the old Kretinga Cemetery (Vilniaus St. 19A), a monument stands dedicated to the partisans of the Žemaičiai Region's Kardo Unit who fell in the Kretinga district between 1946 and 1953. This memorial honors their struggle for Lithuania's freedom and pays tribute to all who sacrificed their lives to preserve the country's independence.
The monument, designed by architect Edmundas Giedrimas, was erected in 1992. It serves as a significant historical site where visitors can reflect on the partisan battles and honor their memory.
