Monument in Memory of the Bugantas Unit Partisans

In 2014, a monument was erected at this site to honor the commander of the Žemaičiai Region's Kardo Unit Bugantas Squad, Stasys Lukas, his deputy Juozas Baltonis, and two other partisans who perished in 1947. This monument commemorates their sacrifice for Lithuania's freedom and independence.
The memorial was initiated by Juozapas Antanas Viluckas, a member of the Lithuanian Freedom Fighters’ Movement, to preserve the history of the partisans’ struggle for future generations.
