In Nausodis village, at the site of Ignacas Slušnys' former homestead, stands a memorial marker honoring the partisans who fell on September 8, 1948. Among them were Vladas Slušnys, the leader of the Bugantas Company’s Jūreivis Squad, his wife Karolina Slušnienė, and partisans Bronius Anužis and Jonas Liaudanskis. This symbolic marker commemorates their struggle for Lithuania’s freedom.
The memorial marker was unveiled on October 8, 2011, through the initiative of Lieutenant General Arvydas Pocius. Its design was created by designer Romas Navickas. This site invites visitors to learn about the history of the partisans and honor their sacrifice for independence.
