The Kėdainiai Regional Museum and Multicultural Center is a unique space where history, art, and technology converge. It offers a variety of educational programs for children and adults, introducing participants to history, art, ethnoculture, Jewish cultural heritage, and Kėdainiai's multiculturalism. Visitors can engage in practical activities such as dressing in Renaissance attire, accessorizing with manor-style items, or working with authentic exhibits while listening to historical narratives. In 2019, the museum introduced interactive exhibits, enabling visitors to virtually participate in the first battle of the Independence Wars or experience daily life in 17th-century Kėdainiai. The unique model, The Golden Age of Kėdainiai, highlights
the stories of various city residents, from Reformed clergy to Jewish merchants. In 2020, the museum expanded with four new exhibitions. The exhibit on Czesław Miłosz explores the connection between his work and Kėdainiai. An interactive map-display, Kėdainiai’s Connections to the World, reveals how the city was linked to both nearby and distant regions. Visitors can also delve into the history of the city's proprietors, from the Radziwiłł family to the early 19th century, and learn about the multicultural heritage of Kėdainiai's diverse community. The museum invites you not only to discover the history of Kėdainiai but also to enjoy a unique experience through modern technologies and authentic educational activities.
