The Kriaunos History Museum, established in 1987, invites visitors to explore the history and traditions of the Rokiškis region. The museum's exhibits feature tools used by carpenters, blacksmiths, weavers, and fishermen, as well as a reconstructed interior of an early 20th-century rural home. With over 10,000 artifacts, the museum tells the story of local history and celebrates notable figures from the area. The second floor hosts rotating exhibitions. Educational programs offer hands-on experiences, including workshops on the history of handbags, from traditional pouches to modern accessories that visitors can decorate themselves, and candle-making, where participants learn about the symbolism of candles and proper burning techniques. These programs provide an engaging way to connect with the past while learning practical skills.
