In the center of Anykščiai, a mural of a rooster adorns the side of a building, serving as an artistic highlight of the "Devilstone" festival. The artwork is inspired by the legend of the Devil and the Puntukas stone. According to the tale, the Devil intended to block the doors of Anykščiai Church with the massive Puntukas stone. However, the plan failed when the crowing of a rooster broke the straw rope the Devil was using to drag the stone, causing it to fall and leave the church untouched. The Puntukas stone remains a symbol of Anykščiai's natural and mythological heritage to this day.
