An impressive mural adorning the streets of Rokiškis is the result of the project “Paper-Cut Motifs in Rokiškis Street Art”, created by artists Goda Skėrytė and Ieva Olimpija Voroneckytė. This artwork reflects the unique aesthetics of Lithuanian folk art and the tradition of paper cutting.
The concept for the paper-cut design was gifted to the town by Gita Kolosovienė, a certified creator of national heritage products and a preserver of the paper-cutting tradition. The mural not only enhances the urban landscape of Rokiškis but also inspires interest in Lithuanian folk crafts and culture, attracting both locals and tourists seeking authentic experiences.
