Although documentation is sparse, the chapel was recorded in historical records in 1736. Over time, this sacred heritage has endured numerous trials – it has been damaged, destroyed, and restored. A unique time when this little-known relic comes to life is the last Sunday of August, when the St. Augustine indulgences are held here. The surroundings of the chapel serve as the resting place for Lithuanian partisans, reminding us of the brave resistance and sacrifices of the country's people. This sacred place reflects the indomitable spirit of the nation and the endurance of history.
