In the village of Stebeikėliai, one of the homesteads is closely linked to the birth of the renowned Lithuanian literary classic and Honorary Citizen of Pasvalys, Bernardas Brazdžionis, born on February 2, 1907. Having emigrated with his family at a young age, Bernardas Brazdžionis continually returned to the landscapes of his childhood in his life and work. These landscapes were shaped by his time spent in the primary schools of Žadeikiai and Pasvalys, Biržai Gymnasium, and later during his studies at Vytautas Magnus University.

These landscapes were shaped by his time spent in the primary schools of Žadeikiai and Pasvalys, Biržai Gymnasium, and later during his studies at Vytautas Magnus University. The poet's birthplace is immortalized in his poetry, with the
village homesteads, one of which still stands as a testament to the past, evoking the Brazdžionis family farm. This legacy is underscored by a century-old oak tree standing as a natural monument nearby, and the 1989 revival marked by the erection of a stogastulpis, adorned with a figure of St. Roch, symbolizing protection and return. The memories and literary legacy of Bernardas Brazdžionis are an integral part of the cultural heritage of the Pasvalys region, reminding us of a distinguished figure whose life and work spanned between Lithuania and the diaspora, between the past and the present.
