The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kazliškis village is a masterpiece of wooden folk architecture, built in 1910. Its history dates back to 1796 when the Kazliškis chapel was first mentioned. In the second half of the 19th century, the chapel collapsed, but in 1901, local residents began petitioning for permission to build a new chapel. After approval from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, land for construction was donated by manor owner A. Brazauskienė. A wooden chapel was completed in 1910, and in 1911, it was designated a church with a permanent priest.
